What began as a heartfelt tribute has grown into a small flower garden rooted in community, kindness, and locally grown blooms. Every bouquet is grown, harvested, and arranged here at Petal by Petal with the hope that flowers can brighten someone’s day and bring people together.

Open mid-July through early fall, the self-serve flower stand offers seasonal bouquets, individual stems, and a limited number of custom flowers for birthdays, celebrations, special events, and everyday moments worth celebrating. Each bouquet reflects what is naturally blooming in the garden that week.

As the season unfolds, the garden changes almost daily. Early-summer flowers give way to armfuls of dahlias in August and September, so no two visits to the stand are ever quite the same, and that’s part of the magic.

Every Bouquet Gives Back

10% of every Petal by Petal purchase is donated to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of my sister, Dawn.

Each week during the growing season, a bouquet is also gifted locally through A New Dawn, a kindness initiative created in her honor.In our first season, our community helped raise $1,000 through the flower stand, which our family matched for a $2,000 donation to Dana-Farber.
